Anyway as far as mountains goes Everest is piss easy albeit being above the death zone, proper mountaineers go for K2 or the Savage mountain as it's known

Our old sunday goalkeeper went up Everest twice (until he got his skull caved in playing football) ... loved the sherpas and loved drinking with them... he sorted a couple with a lot of dosh ... well a lot of dosh for them...

I'm watching a doc on the chinook on PBS America
